ALL INDIA PROFESSIONALS' CONGRESS

INSPIRE!

Note from the Chief Operations Officer

Aalim Javeri, Chief Operations Officer, AIPC

Daro Mat! We are here...

It’s indeed a pleasure to look back upon all that we have managed to achieve together in these few months since the first edition of AIPC Inspire! was published. We have made unimaginable strides and maintained consistent growth. As a department and as a unit we have been able to give more of our colleagues an opportunity to get to know one another and contribute together.

I am pleased to say that we are now becoming a medium-sized enterprise both in terms of size and operations. To reflect that, we have re-constituted the social media communications team, expanded the AIPC Inspire! team, and are now looking to expand our state teams with more technical capacity. With every new effort we have learnt and made corrections—sought to go back to what makes us great: Our collective potential.

What has been of particular importance to me is the manner in which we have appointed and expanded the operations teams. A transparent interview process with a clear mechanism of candidate selection has been pivotal in ensuring merit-based promotion. Our efforts have resulted in some of the most qualified professionals now working with us at the national level in various roles.

I never cease to be amazed by the extraordinary level of talent that our Fellows have. The AIPC and the Indian National Congress are truly very lucky to have such a high calibre of professionals inclined and committed to working towards the advancement of our collective agenda for progress. As we have elections (as per my account, 16 between now and the next general elections), AIPC will be playing an increasing role in these efforts both at the front-end and at the back-end. But more importantly, your platform for progress is going to continue to provide more opportunities for the issues that concern India’s working professionals.

Our new MSME coordinator will be complemented with the team across the country to assist in bringing your issues to the Centre. Similarly, we are looking to expand the ideas of our nation’s heroes, the medical professionals, and giving them an opportunity to advance some of their concerns as an industry and body of professionals.

A transparent interview process with a clear mechanism of candidate selection has been pivotal in ensuring merit-based promotion. Our efforts have resulted in some of the most qualified professionals now working with us at the national level in various roles. As I see it, their talent, capacity, and abilities will make the difference between us realising the next threshold or remaining stagnant.

Our people make us great. Our people are the key to our growth. All in all, there is a great deal more work to be done, doors to be opened, and dreams to be realised.

As your COO, it is my hope that we continue to provide opportunities that reflect your ambitions. I can feel and see a sense of uncertainty creeping amongst certain sections of our society and certain industries; let me quote our leader and say, “Daro mat! We are here.” Best wishes!
